Bannon on Rallying for Roy Moore: Establishment Trying to Destroy Him Like They Did With Trump

Steve Bannon made a rare TV appearance with Sean Hannity tonight after rallying for Roy Moore ahead of the Alabama runoff tomorrow.

Even though President Trump has gotten behind Luther Strange, both Bannon and Hannity wanted to make it clear that supporting Moore is not them at odds with Trump, but them rather backing someone who will better serve his agenda.

Bannon said that “this is about trying to destroy Roy Moore” and how the Republican establishment is going after him with the “cruelist, nastiest” ads.

And the people going after Moore, he added, are part of the “same gang” that went after President Trump.

While Bannon and Hannity said they weren’t criticizing Trump himself for his endorsement decision, Bannon did say, “A real review has to be done of how President Trump got the wrong information and came down on the wrong side of the football here.”
