‘Be Polite!’: Fox’s Gasparino Shouts Down Host Liz Claman

Of all the cable news personalities to tell someone else to “be polite,” Fox Business Network’s Charles Gasparino is just about the last person who would come to mind. But that’s exactly what he said to host Liz Claman on Thursday when she cut him off to get reaction from her other guest.

“No? So you’re not going to let me make my point here?” Gasparino asked her. When she reminded him they were on live TV, he shot back, “I know we’re on television, just be polite, I’m polite to you.”

“Oh, OK,” Claman said, laughing. Perhaps she was thinking about that time Gasparino told a fellow panelist, “You’re so goddamn dumb.” Or that other time he called CNBC’s Ron Insana a “disgusting, balding jerk.” Or that other time he just went for it and called millennials “fucking morons.”
