Bill O’Reilly on Trump’s Debate Performance: “I Don’t Know if He Can Recover From That’

bill o'reillyFox News host Bill O’Reilly weighed in on the final presidential debate for the first time Thursday morning, saying on WOR’s Len Berman and Todd Schnitt In The Morning that Donald Trump‘s refusal to say he’d accept the election results may be the final nail in the coffin.

“I believe that Donald Trump had to really knock it out of the park last night and he didn’t do it because he got sidetracked on this rigged election thing,” O’Reilly said. “The press doesn’t like him, that’s a fact. So they’ll seize on that: ‘He’s not respecting the process.’”

O’Reilly said that while he didn’t think the election was being rigged, he didn’t care that Trump said otherwise. “But to answer the question that way, who’s he going to win over?” he asked.
“You just can’t play to your base, because your base isn’t big enough to win,” O’Reilly said. “So that’s the mistake he made and I don’t know if he can recover from that.”
