CBS’ Bob Schieffer Announces His Retirement

Face the Nation moderator Bob Schieffer, a big name at CBS for decades, announced tonight he is retiring this coming summer.

Schieffer made the announcement during the Schieffer Symposium at Texas Christian University:

Schieffer has worked at CBS since 1969, and has moderated Face the Nation since 1991.
