Chilling Surveillance Footage Shows Philly Woman Being Abducted
In chilling surveillance footage released by the Philadelphia Police Department, 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither is seen being forcibly abducted on her way home Sunday night.
Freeland-Gaither was taken from a street corner at around 9:40 p.m. Sunday evening by an unidentified assailant. A struggle previously described by a witness to police is seen in the video. Freeland-Gaither dropped her cell phone and glasses in the struggle and kicked out several of the car windows attempting to escape.
Below is a description of the assailant and the vehicle; authorities say her ATM card was used hours later off I-95 in Aberdeen, Maryland. A $42,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Freeland-Gaither’s return.
