Chris Christie Loses 2016 Morning Joe Primary

The Morning Joe crew used to be besties with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, so perhaps it means something that his antics now make those seated at the glass table shake their heads in dismay and wonder if the man “needs anger management classes.”*

Christie has been especially risible lately, sparring with quarantined nurse Kaci Hickox and yesterday mixing it up with a heckler shouting about Hurricane Sandy relief funds. (Also.) The MJ crew sided with the shouter, whom they said was hardly a tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorist and in fact had a “legitimate point,” and warned Christie that the bully thing was not going to play in Iowa.

Cohost Joe Scarborough even said that Christie’s latest outburst was less defensible than his previous ones that have endeared the government to a certain crowd. “It’s quite another thing if somebody’s bringing up a legitimate point and you’re telling them to sit down and shut up,” Scarborough said.

* Then again, perhaps it means nothing.
