Chris Matthews Pops Into Caucus Coverage to Say ‘I Just Saw a Minority Voter’

Chris Matthews just keeps having his awkward moments, doesn’t he?

Last week he literally wondered aloud “who is going to watch a debate between the two Cuban guys,” and tonight he jumped in during MSNBC’s live Iowa caucus coverage to make it known he spotted a minority voter.

No, he literally said, “I just saw a minority voter there.”

After a beat, Matthews added, “I mean, it is largely a white crowd.”

And Matthews has made it clear in the past how he feels about Republicans’ relationship with minorities…
