CNN’s Brooke Baldwin Slams White House for Briefing Delay: ‘You Cannot Avoid Us’
The White House press briefing was supposed to start at 2 pm ET today. Then 3 pm. Then 2:50. And 15 minutes after 3:00, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin got a little ticked off.
“Memo to the White House: you cannot avoid us. Stop trying to dodge us. This briefing needs to begin. It was supposed to begin an hour and 15 minutes ago, and then it was supposed to begin 25 minutes ago. There is a lot to talk about and we need to see Sarah Sanders behind that podium.”
She followed up by saying it’s “entirely fair” to bring this up because “there are so many things they need to answer for” before President Trump‘s Medal of Valor ceremony, set for around 3:30.
Today’s press briefing is going to be the first one in a week.
