Colbert: Adorable Kid Anchor ‘Could Replace Sean Hannity’

Noah Ritter, the precocious five-year-old who took over a local news broadcast a couple days ago is so good, Stephen Colbert said Wednesday night, he could replace any number of Fox News hosts.

“At five years old, he’s already got the sincerity of Edward R. Murrow, the reassuring gaze of Walter Cronkite, and more gravitas than Steve Doocy,” Colbert said. “And he’s already established the word ‘apparently’ ad his catchphrase. That’s the sort of mindless repetition that marks a real news legend like Sean Hannity.”

Colbert then showed a clip of Hannity’s trip through Hamas’ tunnels, which apparently just consisted of the word literally.
