Conan O’Brien’s Adolf Hitler Wants No Part of Trump Comparisons

Comparing Republican frontrunner Donald Trump to Hitler has become such a cliché that it’s now almost the Hitler comparison of Hitler comparisons, but one late-night comic found a way to break some new ground in the genre. On Thursday night’s Conan, host Conan O’Brien decided to give Adolf Hitler a chance to respond to the narrative.

Comedian Sarah Silverman portrayed the late dictator, who objected to the comparisons despite mostly agreeing with Trump. “I’m, like, ‘This guy gets it,” Silverman’s Hitler said, adding “But it’s just, I don’t like the way he says it. It’s crass, you know?”
