Senator Bob Corker hit back today after President Donald Trump ripped him on Twitter, by saying he and Jeff Flake dropped out because they had “zero chance of being elected”:
The reason Flake and Corker dropped out of the Senate race is very simple, they had zero chance of being elected. Now act so hurt & wounded!

Corker told CNN’s Manu Raju this morning that he made his decision not to run when he was “in a dominant position,” saying the president’s tweet isn’t true.
But then he went on to say, “I don’t really care what comes out of the White House… it’s sort of a daily silliness.”
Raju asked Corker if he thinks Trump is fit to be president. Corker did not give a direct answer.
