David Hasselhoff Returns with Completely Insane New Music Video
Over the past decade or so, actor and singer David Hasselhoff has become something of a shorthand for our collective nostalgia for cornball action plots and campy music videos of days gone by.
Perhaps capitalizing on that reputation, Hasselhoff recorded a theme song for the new Kickstarter-funded action comedy Kung Fury, and the music video is one giant neon rainbow vomiting on an 8-bit video game console that’s controlled by a keytar being played in an alternate universe made entirely of people wearing fingerless leather gloves, colorful leg warmers, and shiny red leather jackets.
It’s a lot like the ’80s, okay?
