‘Disgusting’: BBC’s Real Housewives of ISIS Comedy Sketch Invokes Outrage
Revolting, a comedy sketch show on BBC Two, has been getting some mixed reactions online after doing a satirical skit entitled “The Real Housewives of ISIS.”
As an obvious parody of “Real Housewives”-type reality shows, the fake trailer explores the lives and misadventures of women married to Islamic terrorists. One scenario they envision is a scandal where a terrorist’s wife accuses another woman of copying her after they decide to wear the same suicide vest one day.
The sketch has gotten over 6 million views on Facebook since Tuesday, though it has inspired a lot of division from online commenters. Some people found the clip hilarious:
It’s mocking terrorists, not Islam, but I guess that’s just too edgy, these days. https://t.co/1gkqpKOpQE

Others took a more negative view of the skit:
The BBC really made a satirical show called “The Real Housewives of ISIS” while the real housewives of ISIS are being raped and abused daily
