‘Does Trump Have a Point?’: Stephanopoulos Presses Clinton Strategist on WikiLeaks

George Stephanopoulos brought up the WikiLeaks Podesta dump to Hillary Clinton campaign strategist Joel Benenson this morning to ask about whether Donald Trump is right about something.

Benenson first attempted to insist that the voters don’t care about the emails. Stephanopoulos brought up how Trump has complained about American politicians and political institutions getting money from lobbyists who register for foreign governments.

And so, he asked, “Does Donald Trump have a point right there? Should these kind of contributions be allowed?”

Guess how long it took for Benenson to invoke Russia.
