Donald Trump Claims He Doesn’t Know What Tax Rate He Pays

Political mastermind and reality TV star Donald Trump visited the set of Good Morning America, where he discussed GOP candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, particularly where their personal wealth is concerned.

Trump, for one, believes Romney is right to be proud of his work at Bain Capital. On the issue of taxes, Trump is primarily concerned with “where our money is going” and what the government is doing with it.

When asked whether he pays 30 percent on his taxes, Trump told host George Stephanopoulos only that he pays “a lot of tax, I can tell you that.” When asked point blank what his tax rate is, the TV star would only say that it is “substantial.” Ah.
