‘Extraordinary Moment in History’: O’Reilly Stunned By Trump Trashing Biden Administration to Their Faces

Bill O’Reilly was stunned after watching President Donald Trump’s Monday inauguration speech in which he laid into the outgoing administration inside the Capitol Rotunda.

Trump bashed the Biden administration as inept while President Joe Biden looked on – as did former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Kamala Harris, and former First Lady Jill Biden.

“We have a government that has given unlimited funding to the defense of foreign borders, but refuses to defend American borders or, more importantly, its own people,” he said.

Trump also blasted Biden for what he categorized as a mismanagement of FEMA and an education system he said taught American children “to be ashamed of themselves” and their country.

While reacting to Trump’s inauguration during an interview with Piers Morgan, O’Reilly said the speech was “an extraordinary moment in history.”

O’Reilly said he recently advised Trump to keep his speech short during a dinner with him. He added Trump attacking Biden to his face was historic:

There wasn’t anything new in the speech, but the headline would be this. So, here you have President Biden sitting right to the side of President Trump. And Trump just trashes Biden’s whole administration. It would be like you right now if I just trashed you. But you didn’t have a mic, and you couldn’t say anything. And a two-shot, and there’s you. And that wouldn’t be hard for me to do, Morgan. You know what I could do 20 minutes and just cut your throat. And then you’d be. You’d be there like this.

So, to me, that was an extraordinary moment in history. Because most presidents in their inaugural address, they don’t go in for the kill. Trump was the exception. He went in and he laid it out. He said – he didn’t use the word disaster, but every paragraph was, “These people screwed up. These people hosed you. These people are weak. These people are corrupt.” And these people are five feet away. That was an extraordinary bit of American history.
