Former RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Compares Trump-Musk Tussle to Ross and Rachel in ‘Friends’

Former Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel compared President Donald Trump’s public falling out with billionaire Elon Musk to the on-again, off-again relationship between Ross and Rachel on the sitcom Friends, Thursday, mere hours after Musk seemingly insinuated that Trump was a pedophile.

Reacting to their clash on NewsNation’s Cuomo, McDaniel said, “I’m hoping it’s like a Ross and Rachel thing. That it’s just a break and they come back together. You know, we all panicked when they broke up on ‘Friends’ and I hope that they come back together.”

“After you called Ross a pedophile?” asked host Chris Cuomo, in reference to Musk’s post claiming that secret files on the late child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had not yet been made public because Trump was named in them.

McDaniel replied, “I hope they come back together. I think Trump’s – you’ve seen Trump forgive people who have said things about him. You’ve seen these two men work very closely together. Elon was a big part of this election. He came in, their businesses have both suffered, they’ve been attacked, they’ve taken a lot of personal hits for coming out politically, and I hope in the end they call a truce.”

After Cuomo asked, “Do you think that they are both worth more or less than before the election?” McDaniel concluded, “I think they’re both worth more.”
