Fox Anchor Spills Starbucks While Discussing Christmas Controversy
A Fox 9 anchor in Minneapolis accidentally poured what was left in one of the “controversial” Starbucks red cups all over himself during a live morning broadcast.
KMSP-TV anchor Tom Butler was discussing the outrage against Starbucks’ annual holiday red cups, which have irritated many conservative Christians for their lack of Christmas-specific decorations, with Fox Business reporter Adam Shapiro.
Shapiro spent most of his minute outlining the topic for the Fox 9 viewers. Butler, however, was faux angry about a different coffee-related subject.
“What ticks me off about this cup, Adam, is there’s nothing in it.”
With that, the anchor took the lid off of the prop cup and turned it over — spilling its remaining caffeinated contents all over himself and the desk: “Oh geez, there was something in it!”
What’s more controversial than the supposed War on Christmas™? Wasting good coffee on live television, that’s what.
