Fox Debuts New Megyn Kelly Show Promo; She’ll Appear on O’Reilly Tonight

With Megyn Kelly‘s new primetime show debuting next Monday, Fox has released the first official promo video showing the anchorwoman working behind-the-scenes and discussing what she hopes to accomplish. Mediaite has also learned that Kelly will officially return to Fox News airwaves tonight with an appearance on The O’Reilly Factor.

In the minute-long promo spot, viewers see Kelly in a familiar spot: Her desk with a large image of Manhattan’s Sixth Avenue behind her. Except now the America Live graphics have been swapped out for The Kelly File.

“We have been working on this for months,” she said. “I’ve had my baby at home, and I’ve had my baby at work. And both are ready to be born.” She also explained her show’s aim: “You’re going to get the news but maybe with a little more heat.”

At another point, Kelly said that she will not settle for “talking points” during interviews, and aims to “play it straight” for her viewers. Asserting herself as a social media lover, the new primetime host added that she hopes the new show will utilize Twitter and other outlets in a unique way.

The Kelly File debuts next Monday at 9 p.m. ET.

Check back to Mediaite later tonight, as we will have coverage of Kelly’s return to Fox via The O’Reilly Factor.
