Fox & Friends Breaks Down in Hysterics as Lawrence Jones Declares: ‘I Love Mexican Coke!’
The Fox & Friends curvy couch was reduced to side-splitting laughter after co-host Lawrence Jones declared, “I love Mexican Coke!”
The light-hearted moment came during a segment about President Donald Trump’s Truth Social post Wednesday night in which he claimed he had successfully convinced Coca-Cola to switch to real cane sugar in its soda.
“I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so,” Trump wrote. “I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola. This will be a very good move by them — You’ll see. It’s just better!”
While Coca-Cola has yet to confirm the switch to real cane sugar, Jones and co-hosts Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt welcomed the news.
But when Jones twice declared, “I love Mexican Coke,” Kilmeade felt a need to remind Jones to check his words.
“I’m just a little worried about the headline, ‘I love Mexican coke,'” Kilmeade said to laughter.
“Thank you, Brian,” Jones said. “You’re a good wingman. I love Mexican Coca-Cola.”
Read the exchange below:
AINSLEY EARHARDT: So President Trump released something on Truth Social that’s exciting everyone. If you have ever been to Mexico, you’ve been to the U.K., you’ve had a Coca-Cola, they taste a little sweeter, they taste really good. That’s coming to America. He’s gonna make Coca-Cola better again.
LAWRENCE JONES: This is what the president said: I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using real cane sugar in Coke in the United States. I’d like to thank all those in authority at Coca-Cola. This will be a very good move by them — you’ll see. It’s just better.
BRIAN KILMEADE: Is this MAHA? Is this like MAHA-friendly? I mean, because sugar is sugar. They do want you to stay away from sugar. They don’t really embrace Coca-Cola as a health drink.
JONES: It is better.
EARHARDT: It’s better than the high-fructose corn syrup that they’re using now. Now the corn industry is not happy about this but the sugar industry is — and this is, I guess just pure natural sugar cane.
KILMEADE: What about the diet? What about the diet? Will it be in the diet?
EARHARDT: No, there’s no sugar in the diet drink. But Coca-Cola he loves. He has the button on the Oval Office. The Resolute Desk has that little button.
JONES: But I love Mexican Coke. It’s so good. I try to avoid soda-
KILMEADE: By the way, you just want that sampled? I mean, I’m just a little worried about the headline, “I love Mexican coke.” [Laughter]
JONES: Is that thing actually true? I love Mexican Coke, I do.
EARHARDT: What do you mean? Coca-Cola. [Laughter]
JONES: I didn’t think of that. OK.
KILMEADE: I did. Gotta save your career.
JONES: Thank you, Brian. You’re a good wingman. I love Mexican Coca-Cola.
KILMEADE: Thank you. That’s all we need.
