Fox Guest Rips Political ‘Back-and-Forth’ Over ‘Who Has Dementia’: ‘Time For Everybody to Grow Up’
Political consultant and podcast host Tezlyn Figaro ripped the political “back-and-forth” over “who has dementia” during a Fox News appearance on Thursday and urged “everybody to grow up.” Figaro made the comments when asked to weigh in on Democrats and Republicans continuing to question the cognitive health of President Donald Trump and former President Joe Biden, respectively.
On his show Jesse Watters Primetime, Thursday, Fox News host Jesse Watters commemorated Biden’s Juneteenth “glitch” a year prior, before playing clips of Democrats defending Biden’s cognitive health and questioning Trump’s health instead.
“If Donald Trump gets dementia, how will we know?” said MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell in one clip played by Watters. “Donald Trump’s mental decline, which is more and more obvious, started from such a low level of mental processing power that it’s hard to track his decline. It’s from low to lower.”
After Watters introduced Figaro to the show, the Fox News guest tore into the back-and-forth political attacks over cognitive health.
“This going back-and-forth on who has dementia and who’s slow and who’s, you know, not capable of doing the job, I really think is a waste of time, Jesse,” she said. “In two weeks, President Trump will be deciding if we go to war or not. As a veteran, I think it’s time for everybody to grow up – that includes Democrats and Republicans – and to decide how we want to move this country forward.”
