Fox Host Mocks Clinton’s Grocery Store Comment: ‘Squeezing Melons’ Was Bill’s Problem
Outnumbered co-host Andrea Tantaros zinged the Clinton’s continued effort to clean up a series of wealth-related gaffes when she riffed on Bill Clinton’s comments in an interview with David Gregory yesterday about how the couple goes to the grocery store in Chappaqua, New York just like a normal couple.
“Does anyone believe the Clintons are at the grocery store on the weekend squeezing melons personally?” Tantaros asked. And then the payoff: “The reason they had all of these legal bills that she talked about was because Bill was busy squeezing melons, and not the type in the supermarket.”

Tantaros predicted this was a preview of Clinton bailing his wife out of PR jams on the campaign trail. “Again, you see the good cop, bad cop; here comes Bill protecting Hillary. This is a preview of exactly what it’s gonna be like. He’s going to have to bail her out of a lot of PR gaffes.”
