Fox News Guest Mocks John Kerry Mask Coverage: We’re Focusing on This Because There’s ‘Nothing to Complain About’ Under Biden
A guest on Fox News mocked the network for its breathless coverage of John Kerry being caught with his mask off during an American Airlines flight.
Critics accused Kerry of hypocrisy on Thursday after a photo emerged of the U.S. climate czar with his mask dangling from his ear in the middle of a flight. Kerry claimed his masklessness was “momentary,” though American Airlines said they are looking into the incident.
Feels like there’s some St. Patrick’s day “malarkey” afoot on Twitter. Let’s be clear: If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary. I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do.

Harris Faulkner discussed this on Thursday with Democratic strategist Chris Hahn and radio host Kevin McCullough, the latter of whom tore into Kerry by asking “what makes him so special” that he can flout public safety guidelines. When Hahn was allowed a change for rebuttal, Faulkner parroted McCullough by asking “what makes John Kerry so special?”
Hahn made his position clear as he sarcastically responded “I love the gotcha politics.”
He might have had his mask down for a second. Who knows? But the thing is bigger for me is that United States senators have got nothing to complain about with Joe Biden because the people are so happy with him. They’ve got to pick a fight over whether or not John Kerry wore his mask for the entire flight. Hallelujah! The Biden calm. Everybody should be as fortunate. They want us to hate each other, let’s not do that.
As Hahn concluded by reminding people to wear masks, Faulkner retorted “Don’t be like John Kerry on a commercial flight where its been mandated.”
Faulkner continued to bash Kerry disobeying the rules as she determined that the quality of the photo means he must’ve had his mask off for “more than a second.”
“He could have got a video if it was more than a couple of seconds,” Hahn responded. He agreed that Kerry “should never be photographed without his mask,” but he continued to mock Fox for the amount of time and coverage they devoted to this.
“Tucker opened his show with it last night. That shows how little there is to complain about!” Hahn said. “They want to complain about something so here’s something to complain about.”
