Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Hope Hicks Leaving: ‘Disappointing Day’ for White House

Fox News’ Jesse Watters reacted to Hope Hicks‘ resignation by saying it’s a “disappointing day” for the White House.

The hosts of The Five praised Hicks in general upon the news of her leaving and noted how she wasn’t a “self-promoter,” but Watters in particular said this:

“Disappointing day for the Trump White House. She’s President Trump’s most trusted and loyal aide. And he doesn’t just rely on her for communications strategy. She travels with him. In a way, she controls access and information in a similar way that John Kelly did.”

He said there’s certainly a question of whether this is a sign of “chaos,” but said it’s only speculation for now.

Watters did go on to praise her and talk about how liked she was, even revealing “she was my point of contact with the President.”

Oh, and he also noted people are saying now might be “time to bring back The Mooch.”
