Fox’s Andrea Tantaros Blames Trump’s Abortion Comments on Clinton — Somehow

Fox’s Andrea Tantaros blamed Hillary Clinton for Donald Trump’s incendiary remarks about punishing women who get abortions.

Trump, she said, had walked into a “trap” laid by the Democratic frontrunner, as part of an elaborate plan to gin up media attention for the “gender war,” which Tantaros characterized as a disingenuous lefty talking point.

“What he did was he walked into exactly what Hillary Clinton wanted him to walk into, which is a trap,” the Outnumbered co-host said, adding: “They can get their upcoming gender war.”

The GOP frontrunner told MSNBC host Chris Matthews there should be “some punishment” for women who seek abortions if abortions became illegal, but later retracted his comments, saying doctors would be held accountable.
