Fox’s Cavuto Proudly Stands with the President (No, Not Obama)

 

A Fox News host today proudly stood up for the President of the United States and denounced some pretty fierce criticism directed his way.

Oh, no, not Obama, of course not. No, I’m talking about the fictional president: Frank Underwood.

(Yes, House of Cards spoilers ahead.)

On the latest season of House of Cards, Underwood attempts some serious entitlement reform with a program called America Works, that would give every single person in America a job. Now, various websites have written about how absurd this is, but Cavuto came to Underwood’s defense on Fox today.

Cavuto, who quite liked the idea of a president with the balls to take on entitlements, was amazed at how seriously some people are taking a fictional television show. He did note, however, that “even cutting entitlements on a fake show with a fake president gets this type of real, irate response.”
