Fox’s Shep Smith: Trump Is ‘Representing the Worst, Darkest Part of All That Is America’

Fox News’ Shep Smith really let Donald Trump have it this afternoon over his plan to ban all foreign Muslims from entering the United States.

Wall Street Journal associate editor John Bussey told Smith that this is unlawful and people can very well see it as “fearmongering” and “racist. Smith bluntly said it is those things.

He lamented how the country is being “dragged down the wormhole by some carnival huckster” and really let Trump have it:

“Somebody needs to come up and remind him what this nation is and what we’re about and how we dream and the way we were founded and what our constitution is. He’s not representing any of that. He’s representing the worst, darkest part of all that is America.”
