Gary Sinise Explains How A Forrest Gump Character Is Helping Our Troops
Just in time for this weekend’s 4th of July celebrations: Actor Gary Sinise – who is perhaps best remembered for his role as Vietnam veteran “Lieutenant Dan” in 1994’s Forrest Gump – has a long history of aiding our country’s troops and war vets.
He recently spoke with Laura Ingraham, who is sitting in for Bill O’Reilly on The Factor, about how his band (called, appropriately enough, “The Lt. Dan Band”) and a new documentary are helping him raise even more money for the troops.
