Gingrich on Trump Still Having Exec Producer Credit on The Apprentice: ‘I Think It’s Weird’

Neil Cavuto asked Newt Gingrich this afternoon for his reaction to Donald Trump still being credited as an executive producer on Celebrity Apprentice while he’s president.

Gingrich’s immediate reaction was to say, “I think it’s weird.”

He did go on to tell Cavuto that this doesn’t seem particularly relevant, given how Trump will be executive producing the American government and his TV show will be “leading the world.”

Gingrich suggested he just hand over the EP credit to one of his children.

He also thinks that Trump needs to “grow into” the responsibility of the presidency and not be so impulsive about his tweeting.
