Glenn Beck Instructs Caller How To Become An Illegal Alien For Fun And Profit

On his radio show today, Glenn Beck helped a caller who was trying to figure out what he needed to do to fool his college into thinking he was an illegal alien so that he could receive in-state tuition. What followed was an extended comedy bit that you’ll either find a hilarious tweaking of politically correct sensibilities or an obnoxious, racially-tinged rant. Watch and comment appropriately.

Not sure which category you fit in? Well, since this is about school tuition, think back to your college days. Did you spend them wearing a blazer, hanging with the Young Republicans, and joking about how awesome it would be to be and over-assisted minority? Or were you strapping on your Birkenstocks, packing a bowl, and handing out leaflets to your latest protest/drum circle?

My opinion (and, for the record, I spent college in an ultra-secret society whose members have gone on to hold positions so powerful you don’t even know about them) this borders on the obnoxious side but, really, there’s nothing too offensive here. The worst bits come, not from Beck, but from the caller. Beck saying “white American citizens” are “pretty much toast”” is rather silly. The caller suggesting he get a tanning bed or steal ID off a “Mexican bum” is…questionable.
