Rock N’ Roll Tour Manager Promotes Sex And Drugs Tell-All With Greta Van Susteren
You’re a hip tour manager that has worked with the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, and knew the biggest acts of the 60s and 70s. You’ve just written a tell-all book about your experiences and would like to do some promotion to a target demographic that would love to hear your wild rock n’ roll stories. Your manager books you on On the Record with Greta Van Susteren. Hilarity inevitably ensues.
This is what happened to Sam Cutler, who showed up on set in a”You Can’t Always Get What You Want” t-shirt and was more than happy to get nostalgic about the good old days to promote his memoir of the same name. In her straight-laced, hard journalism interview style, Van Susteren still managed to show off just how much she knew about the topic– asking about specific concerts, his relationship with various bands of the era, and his “lovely, deep baritone voice” (available in an iPhone app, of course).
The whole interview is delightful, and it’s always nice to see Greta loosen up with her more uncharacteristic guests. The interview via Fox News below:
