Greta Van Susteren Rips Marilyn Mosby: ‘Scaring Police from Keeping the Nation Safe’?
Greta Van Susteren opened her Fox show tonight by asking, “Is Baltimore City state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby scaring police from keeping the nation safe?” Mosby this week filed a gag order to prevent Freddie Gray‘s autopsy results from becoming public knowledge, and with every passing day critics like Van Susteren have less and less confidence in Mosby’s ability to fairly prosecute the case.
She said that Mosby’s deliberately angering the police while making absolutely no effort to “repair the relationship” between them. And that’s important because prosecutors and the police need to have a good relationship with each other.
Criminal defense attorney Ted Williams added that cops are clearly scared of even putting a hand on someone in fear of being accused of brutality or arrested, a fear that has been articulated by Baltimore cops.
