Hannity Shreds ‘Spineless, Gutless’ GOPers for Not Helping Trump Fulfill Promises Faster
Fox’s Sean Hannity said on Thursday that the GOP leadership has to either get behind President Trump‘s administration, or get out of the way and stop slowing him down.
During his opening monologue, Hannity tore into Congressional Republicans by saying they’ve made promises to voters for years and now it seems they won’t follow through despite having control over the government. Hannity argued that Trump is ready for action, and yet Congress doesn’t want to help him find a faster way to cut taxes and repeal the Affordable Care Act.
You gotta be kidding me. Repair? For nearly eight years, Republicans have been saying they were gonna repeal and replace Obamacare, a solemn promise to you. And on top of making those promises, Republicans also repeatedly said that, if you the voters, if you give them the White House, the Senate, the House, they would abolish Obamacare, once and for all. Well guess what? You spineless, gutless, timid politicians, they have all three, they have the White House, the Senate, and the House. What’s their excuse now?
Hannity continued to promise that he would keep an eye on Congress, because he’s “had it” with GOPers slowing down Trump and not having a plan for their goals. He also said that anyone who fails to back up Trump can effectively get lost:
I’ve had it up to here! I’ve had it with all of you. All talk, no action politicians, as Donald Trump said during the campaign. If you can’t do your job, guess what? Go back to wherever the hell you came from, because the American people are sick and tired of inaction. They voted for change, and they want to shake up Washington. Do your job, or go home.
Recently, Matt Drudge and other conservative media figures have expressed frustration with Congress for not fulfilling the political changes they promised at this point.
