Hannity Wonders Whether Obama Will Put Golf Flags at Half-Mast
Like dozens of other commentators, Sean Hannity is upset that President Barack Obama did not cancel his fundraising efforts and address the nation in light of major news like the Malaysia Airlines crash and an Israeli ground invasion of Gaza.
On his Thursday evening show, the conservative commentator got so frustrated with the situation that he mockingly wondered whether the president will put his golf flags at half-mast as his only gesture of concern for the deaths in that aforementioned airline tragedy.
“Here we have our closest ally involved in a ground invasion,” he told guest KT McFarland. “We have 300 people shot out of the sky, likely by one of our biggest enemies. And the president’s raising money.”
He continued: “What’s next? He’s going to put golf flags — since he plays golf 180 times — at half-mast? I mean, where is presidential action here?”
“Missing in action,” McFarland replied.
