Hillary Clinton Set to Appear on Saturday Night Live

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is set to make an appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

The New York Times broke the news of the guest appearance, which was so closely-guarded that the Clinton campaign wouldn’t even confirm it. Clinton will reportedly take part in the cold open, which will be a sketch parodying her inability to appear authentic and spontaneous.

How badly did Clinton want to be on the show? Badly enough that she cancelled giving the keynote address to the influential gay rights organization Human Rights Campaign to make the appearance.
