Howard Dean Defends Trump ‘Coke User’ Tweet: ‘Something Funny Was Going On’

Last night former DNC chair Howard Dean wondered if Donald Trump‘s debate sniffles were signs of a “coke user.” Today he adamantly defended that tweet.

MSNBC’s Kate Snow confronted him about why he would say something like that when everyone in Clintonworld was outraged about gross speculation on their candidate’s health.

Dean said he doesn’t really think Trump is a cocaine user, but said “I’m suggesting we think about it.”

He pointed to Trump’s sniffling, his “grandiosity,” and his “delusions” to argue that while it might not be coke, “I think it’s something it’d be interesting to ask him.”

Dean insisted that “something funny was going on last night” and he has no regrets at all.
