‘Incompetent By Stupidity’: Trump Spokesperson Pulls No Punches in Attacking Kamala Harris On Fox News

Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt joined Fox News on Thursday following the former president’s lengthy press conference and was asked if Donald Trump is changing up his debate strategy now that he is facing Kamala Harris instead of President Joe Biden.

Fox’s Shannon Bream kicked off the interview, noting, “And we’re getting some news from ABC. Apparently, both sides have agreed to this debate on September 10th to show up and fight about the records policy and everything else. But let’s talk about the fact the president said today that it’s not a pivot for him. He’s still going to go after the same policies, but it is a different debate, going head to head with President Joe Biden versus vice president Harris, at least stylistic, maybe people would argue. What is the debate prep? How will it be different for a different candidate?”

“Well, it’s different because while Joe Biden was incompetent by senility, Kamala Harris is incompetent by stupidity,” replied Leavitt, parroting attacks on Harris’s intelligence launched by Trump during the presser.

“She has supported 100% of Joe Biden’s disastrous policies. And that’s why our strategy will not change. Overall, we will continue to hammer away on the message that you just heard President Trump share for more than an hour at that press conference, taking questions on all types of issues and calling out Kamala Harris for her failure,” Leavitt continued, adding:

As the borders czar allowing more than 11 million illegal people into this country, for her failure in supporting Bidenomics, which has created the worst inflation crisis in a generation. And for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris weak foreign policy that has created war and chaos all over this world. While President Trump talked about that for more than an hour today, Kamala Harris continues to hide from the news media.

It’s day 18, and she has not taken one question from the press since being installed as the Democratic Party’s nominee. She needs to answer for her disastrous record. The media should be demanding that she answers tough questions, and we look forward to hopefully seeing her on the debate stage on all three occasions that President Trump just committed.

Bream replied by saying, “She’s always welcome to come on Fox News. She’s always welcome on Fox News Sunday. We would love to talk to her, too. So we’ll see if others impress her as well to get her where she can answer some questions.”
