ISIS Now Running Luxury Hotel Where Guests Can Be Stoned to Death for Breaking Rules

ISIS, the terrorist group currently trying to establish a presence in Iraq, seems to be frustrated with the fact that the world thinks they live in bombed-out buildings and mud huts with goats. To combat this image, they’ve opened up their first five-star luxury hotel in Mosul, complete with spas and swimming pools, and sans hacked-off idolatrous decor.

The Daily Beast notes that the Ninawa International Hotel of Mosul was an actual luxury hotel that existed long before ISIS took over the city, and that it got some pretty good reviews on travel sites before the terrorists took over. Now that it’s an ISIS-owned property — indeed, propaganda photos show its grand re-opening with ISIS flags flown over the hotel — it’s ready to host male jihadists looking for a spa night, or couples on their honeymoons.

And, per Metro UK, there are obviously going to be some strict rules involved in staying at the Ninawa:

As for the facilities, women will be banned for swimming or playing tennis in public unless they keep every inch of flesh covered, while the hotel is likely to be patrolled by members of IS’ feared all women police brigade.

Other banned activities including drinking alcohol, dancing, smoking or gambling, and those who don’t obey risk being flogged, crucified or beheaded.

Oh. Well, that’s a buzzkill.
