Jeopardy! Contestants Can’t Name Loretta Lynch

Attorney General Loretta Lynch hasn’t been on the job very long, but the qualifications that got her appointed in the first place haven’t wowed a particular constituency: Jeopardy! contestants.

The answer was a visual clue, the designated hitter of Jeopardy! “Here she is at her Senate confirmation hearing to be our nation’s top cop,” Alex Trebek hinted. Nada. (Jeopardy! segments are taped in advance, so this likely would have been before Lynch’s role in the Baltimore unrest and FIFA arrests.)

Government might not have been the contestants’ strong suit anyway: earlier all three missed an answer about the State Department.
