Jobless Martin Bashir Commiserates with Jill Abramson: ‘I Hear You!’

Following her ousting as executive editor of the New York Times, Jill Abramson gave a commencement address at Wake Forest University and told the outgoing students she has found herself in a similar situation as them: Jobless and unsure of the future.

“What’s next for me? I don’t know. So I’m in exactly the same boat as many of you,” she told the graduates on Monday.

Alongside the thousands of students who can fully understand Abramson’s newfound career anxieties, a recently-deposted cable news figure emerges: ex-MSNBC host Martin Bashir. Remember him?
