John Stossel Goes After CNN for ‘Deceitful’ Blackfish Documentary

Fox’s John Stossel went after the Sea World documentary Blackfish last night (and, by extension, CNN) for the “deceitful” portrayal of certain information. Stossel has a new special questioning the documentary’s accuracy, and spoke with Kelly File guest host Martha MacCallum last night about what he’s learned.

Stossel spoke to Sea World for his special and said they’re not ruining whales’ lives. Almost every detail of the film, he alleged, is “just not true.”

He called it “deceitful” and called out one scene in particular where they “play this mournful cry of the poor sad mother.” Stossel claimed “they faked that scene” and even went after CNN––which picked up Blackfish to air on television––for showing that clip over and over.
