Jorge Ramos Scolds Maher for Using the Word ‘Illegals’

Jorge Ramos scolded Bill Maher tonight for using the word “illegals” in a discussion about immigration.

Ramos talked about his now-infamous Donald Trump confrontation, and Maher said, “You also pointed out that most illegals come here by plane.”

Ramos corrected him and Maher jokingly said “transgender” instead. Ramos told him “words matter,” but Maher asked him what’s wrong with saying “some people are illegal.”

He pointed out that no one’s using the same word to describe the companies who benefit from illegal immigrant labor.
