Joy Behar on Caitlyn Jenner Supporting Cruz: Like ‘Jews for Hitler’

The View today criticized Caitlyn Jenner for her tough words for Hillary Clinton and support of Ted Cruz. Raven-Symoné said that after coming out, Jenner should have “stepped back and really lived in the transgender world” to understand the struggle a bit more.

Behar didn’t understand how Jenner could support a Republican so opposed to everything trans, while Sunny Hostin observed that having lived as a privileged white male bubble for so long, Jenner is still living in a bubble.

Jenner has since softened her stance on Clinton and tweeted out a picture with both her and the Democratic frontrunner with the hashtag #willingtolisten. Michelle Collins suspected that’s in reaction to a possible viewer exodus over Jenner’s more conservative views.

Behar circled back to the Cruz support and joked, “Transgenders for Cruz is like Jews for Hitler.”
