Joy Reid Mocks Tucker Carlson For Seeking Interview With Nicki Minaj’s Swollen Testicle Guy: ‘Go and Do It Tucker, I Know You Wanna’

MSNBC’s Joy Reid sarcastically encouraged Fox News’ Tucker Carlson to pursue a “deep investigative report” on rapper Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend in Trinidad and Tobago, who she claims had detrimental side-effects, including swollen testicles, from the Covid-19 vaccine.

During the segment, Reid acknowledged a statement made by the health minister of Trinidad and Tobago that rebuked Minaj’s claims as false.

The host of the ReidOut continued to point out the humor in the situation by imitating the health minister saying, “unfortunately we wasted a lot of time running down this false claim,” adding that “the idea that somebody’s cojones were extremely large in Trinidad and Tobago because of the vaccine,” is untrue.

“No one can ever say disinformation isn’t real,” said MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson. “They wasted government resources because of a crazy story Nicki Minaj told.”

Johnson dug into Minaj saying, “This is why she lost to Cardi B.”

“Nobody who cares about their fans, supporters or Covid would want to align themselves with Tucker Carlson,” claimed Johnson, “especially against some nonsense that’s killing black people at a higher rate than any other group in this country.”

When Johnson brought Carlson into the discussion, Reid did not hold back from criticizing his supportive response to Minaj’s tweets.

On Tuesday, the Fox News host said that “if Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend is watching, or his former fiancee is watching, we want to hear your story.”

Reid stated, “I think he should do that. I actually want to see that investigative report.”

“I want him to go down there like he went to Viktor Orban and talk with that gentleman and find out why it is that his future wife left him and just how large these melons were,” Reid dared Carlson.

“It’s an investigative report that we need,” continued Reid. “Go and do it Tucker, I know you wanna. You really, really wanna.”

She ended the segment by saying, “Let me stop before we get in trouble.”

Reid’s remarks here are questionable, considering she had made several homophobic comments on an old blog.

According to The Washington Post, Reid originally apologized for her posts. However, once a second round of posts were uncovered, the host claimed that her blog had been hacked and that she hadn’t written those particular entries.

Reid claimed they were part of a “fabricated” external effort to paint her in an “offensive and hateful,” light.
