Karl Rove Thinks The ‘Ham Rove’ Bit Means Stephen Colbert May Have ‘Anger Management’ Issues

After defending the GOP’s future and its stance on guns on This Week, Karl Rove took questions from ABC viewers, including one question about Stephen Colbert‘s usage of a ham puppet to represent him on his show.

Rove laughed it off at first before recalling an incident where Colbert took out a knife and stabbed it repeatedly on his show. “There was a little bit of anxiety in his stabs,” he said.

“The Architect”, as Rove is commonly known, noted that even though Colbert is a comedian and “gets to exaggerate things” perhaps Colbert has some anger management issues that he needs to work out.
