Maria Bartiromo Asks if American Toddler Was Released By Hamas Because Her Family Donated to Biden

Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo questioned if Abigail Edan, a 4-year-old American girl held hostage by Hamas after her parents were murdered, was released because her family donated to President Joe Biden’s campaign.

Edan, who holds dual Israeli-U.S. citizenship, was taken hostage by Hamas militants on October 7. Her parents were killed during the attack. She was released along with dozens of other hostages over the weekend as part of the Hamas-Israel temporary ceasefire.

During a Wednesday interview on Mornings With Maria, the Fox host interviewed Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) about his current probe into the Biden family foreign business dealings. At one point, Bartiromo brought up that some of Edan’s family supported Biden during the 2020 presidential election.

“There’s an awful story around the hostage release in in Israel, Abigail Edan is one of the many young children released by Hamas over the last three days,” Bartiromo told Smith. “Her story is a travesty. She’s an orphan. She watched her parents get murdered by these monsters. Thank God she has been released.”

Bartiromo then questioned whether the young toddler was one of the first hostages released by Hamas because “she had this connection to Biden.”

The host added, “But we also learn that her family is major donors to President Biden and that her aunt actually bought Hunter Biden’s art. I mean, of course, we want Abigail to get released and to be home with her family and that we’re all praying and thanking God for. But was she the first one because she had this connection to Biden?”
