Michael Cohen: I’ve ‘Probably’ Threatened People 500 Times for Trump

Michael Cohen admitted on Wednesday that he was one of several employees Donald Trump ordered to threaten other people on his behalf.

Throughout his testimony Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee, Cohen explained how Trump rarely spoke in direct terms, but in a manner that always implied what he really wanted others to do for him. As Cohen took questions from Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-CA), she asked him how many times he threatened people or entities for Trump.

Cohen: “Quite a few times.”

Speier: “50 times?”

Cohen: “More.”

Speier: “100 times?”

Cohen: “More.”

Speier: “200 times?”

Cohen: “More.”

Speier: “500 times?”

Cohen: Probably. Over the ten years

Cohen explained that these threats were made in the form of legal litigation, unflattering media stories, and similar methods.
