Mika Brzezinski: Why Can’t Romney Transfer Debate Performance Onto Campaign Trail?

The folks at Morning Joe had a lot of positive things to say about Mitt Romney‘s debate performance, with host Mika Brzezinski wondering why it is that the GOP candidate hasn’t been able to translate that passion onto the campaign trail.

Fellow host Willie Geist was pleased that the debate included two very smart candidates with two different visions for America, but felt that Obama simply wasn’t prepared for “this” Romney.

“It was like he had a lot of coffee before the debate, and he just was going after the President,” Brzezinski said of Romney’s performance. “My question for you, Joe, is why can’t he transfer this to the campaign trail? Why wouldn’t that work?”

Joe Scarborough thought he was comfortable talking about facts, and not as comfortable hanging out with, say, people at Chipotle.
