Morning Joe Airs Brutal Montage of Recent Trump Gaffes: Like an ‘Ali G Skit!’

Morning Joe had a laugh at Donald Trump’s expense by running an unflattering montage of the former president’s misstatements, bizarre tangents, and other recent gaffes.

The clip began with the footage of Trump botching international politics, claiming Viktor Orban to be the prime minister of Turkey, and also claiming that Hungary shares a border with Russia. The montage continued to focus on Trump calling Hezbollah “very smart” and especially on his odd pronunciation of Hamas.

“It’s out of an Ali G skit!” Joe Scarborough exclaimed. “Where Ali G says, ‘I like Hamas. You put the dip in it carrots with it. Hummus!”

The show continued to mock Trump for getting his geography wrong at a rally, plus how he seems to be convinced former President Barack Obama is secretly running President Joe Biden’s administration. This segued to Chris Christie’s entrance onto the show, for Scarborough asked him “Do you think when he gets up there and freaks out, he can’t remember Joe Biden’s name?”

“You see him struggling, and by the way, Biden does it too,” Scarborough said. “They’re both old men and both doing it, but he keeps saying he’s running against Barack Obama. You see him struggling up there, trying to remember what decade he is in. Do you think it’s the pressure of 91 counts? What do you think it is?”
