MSNBC Remembers Deceased House Speaker Tom Foley with Picture of Mark Foley

Former House Speaker Tom Foley (D-WA) passed away Friday morning at the age 84 after several months of hospice care. As he served a long career in public office, including Speaker of the House for six years under Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Foley will be honored by many politicians past and present. Upon announcing his death this afternoon, MSNBC ran a photograph of the scandalized former Rep. Mark Foley.

While reading off memorial statements from current House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), MSNBC’s graphics producers made the boo-boo:
